The dance group of the Boumbouras Foundation was founded to promote Greek culture and specifically the Greek tradition, focusing on the authenticity and philosophy of Greek traditional dance, based on the idea of participation and expression in the local community. Everyone can participate in Greek dance, regardless of age, caste, abilities and anything else that can cause diversity. Everyone has the right to participate in the joy and what dance can offer.
It is not easy, but it is worth trying and with the right guidance, you will find that you can fill your life with unprecedented emotions. The Bubura Foundation has three dance groups, made up of 60 dancers. The first group (the most advanced) has 100 Greek dances in its repertoire.
The Foundation’s ambition is to develop the Greek traditional dance activity, gathering people who will be introduced to its virtues. In this context, trips are organized to Greece and other countries as well as to Ukraine, with the aim of participating in festivals or performances of high standards. At the same time, performances are given in theaters in Ukraine, mainly in Odessa.
